Step back in time and dine on the train as it used tobe. Traditional Sunday lunch is served at your table. Available every Sunday from 27th March to 30th October and every Friday from 3rd June to 30th September.
Sunday fares are £25 for adults and £12 .50 for children. Friday fares and £23 for adults and £12.50 for children. These prices also include the train fare. Trains depart from Aviemore at 12.30 p.m. and 2.45 p.m. Boat of Garten and at 12.45 p.m. Broom Hill 1.30 p.m. Advance booking is essential for these trains. THE STRATHSPEY HIGHLANDER
Think hot oil, steam, white table covers and tinkling cutlery. For that special evening, book the Strathspey Highlander and watch the evening light across the mountains from the comfort of the dining car. The train leaves Aviemore at 7.30 p.m. returning at approximately 9.45 p.m. every Wednesday from 1st June to 31st August. The train also runs every Friday from 3rd June to 26th August.
